To those in guitar and metal circles, Joe Stump needs little introduction. The Shredlord has been raining down full-throttle neo-classical, shred and speed metal since his debut Guitar Dominance was released over 27 years ago.

Joe Stump has been named one of the Top 10 Fastest Shredders of All Time by Guitar One magazine, one of the 50 Fastest Players of All Time by Guitar World, and one of the Top 20 Shredders of All Time by Guitarist magazine. He has appeared in countless guitar and metal publications, fanzines and webzines worldwide, cementing his reputation as one of the most technically formidable guitarists of his generation.

An American shred guitar legend, Stump has toured the world both as a solo artist and with bands including Joe Stump’s Tower Of Babel, Joe Stump’s Reign Of Terror and HolyHell. He is also the lead guitarist of legendary hard rock band Alcatrazz, who relaunched and released their first album since 1986 with Born Innocent, reaching No.1 in Japan and No.4 on the UK Metal and Hard Rock charts, followed by extensive touring across Europe, the UK, Japan and Australia.

Beyond the stage, Joe Stump is an Associate Professor at the esteemed Berklee College of Music, where he has served as the metal and shred guitar specialist for the last 28 years. Whether in the studio, on the road or in the classroom, Joe Stump continues to define, refine and elevate the art of shred guitar.
